The EDGE blade is fashioned from high-quality molybdenum/vanadium 1.4116-steel, hardened to Rockwell 53-55 HRC. The distinctive EDGE profile is created by first punching out the blade and thenhoning its finish.
The knives are extremely easy to sharpen, even for the novice. EDGE handles are of hollow 18/8 stainless steel.
EDGE's uniqueness lies in the fact that the blade runs through the entire handle where it is anchored at the back, giving the knife both resilience and strength. Each knife is individually designed to strike a perfect balance between the handle and the size and weight of the blade. To maintain best cutting quality, EDGE knives should not be washed in dishwasher.
